I’ve recently finished reading Laurie Halse Anderson’s book Speak which was incredibly intense and this book is also intense. I’m really enjoying it though. I think I need a lighter read soon though.

What did you recently finish reading?

18134085This was my lighter read between Speak and Wintergirls. I enjoyed it, but didn’t think it was outstanding.  My review should be published tomorrow.

What do you think you’ll read next?

13515025I’m trying to get through some books I’ve had for a while. I’m also trying to mix up what I’m reading so I’m not reading too many heavy things one after the other. No one needs that! I’m looking forward to this one!

Please feel free to leave your links to your WWW Wednesday posts and I’ll come by your blog and check them out.

  1. I have been meaning to read Dash & Lily for ages. can’t wait for your review. My reading is in the doldrums, as you’ll see when you visit my WWW. Have a happy day.

  2. I haven’t read any of Laurie Halse Anderson’s books, but I really want to. I’ve heard that she’s amazing. And of course, once I hear that someone is talking about banning books, it always makes me want to check them out – I heard that Speak was challenged several times. If a book is that powerful, I want to read it! 😉

  3. Oh I want to read those Anderson books, but yeah, looks like they put you through the wringer! Looking forward to what you think of Wintergirls. 🙂 I enjoyed Dash and Lily, it was perfect for what I needed at the time. Nothing earth shaking, but totally fun and easy and compulsively readable.

  4. All of these books look great. I am also trying to get some of my books read that have been on my shelf for awhile. You know, all those books I just ‘had’ to have. Happy reading!

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
