How did I get it?:
I bought it!
Synopsis:
The past few years have held more surprises than part-angel Clara Gardner could ever have anticipated. Yet from the dizzying highs of first love, to the agonizing low of losing someone close to her, the one thing she can no longer deny is that she was never meant to live a normal life.
Since discovering the special role she plays among the other angel-bloods, Clara has been determined to protect Tucker Avery from the evil that follows her . . . even if it means breaking both their hearts. Leaving town seems like the best option, so she’s headed back to California – and so is Christian Prescott, the irresistible boy from the vision that started her on this journey in the first place.
As Clara makes her way in a world that is frighteningly new, she discovers that the fallen angel who attacked her is watching her every move. And he’s not the only one. . . . With the battle against the Black Wings looming, Clara knows she must finally fulfill her destiny. But it won’t come without sacrifices and betrayal.
In the riveting finale of the Unearthly series, Clara must decide her fate once and for all.
Thoughts:
I’ve finally got around to finishing this series. This series was a surprise to me. I didn’t expect to enjoy Unearthly as much as I did, Hallowed was good, but not as good. Luckily I thoroughly enjoyed Boundless and I’m a very, very happy reader. I don’t intend to spoil the series for those that haven’t finished it.. but if you haven’t got around to finishing it (or starting it!)…do it soon!!
It is so hard to review this book without spoiling it, because all I want to do is to discuss Clara’s choice. Does she go for Tucker or Christian? I was itching to know who she picked and I’m very happy with the outcome. You’ll have to read the book to find out who Clara picked.
The storyline was action packed and towards the end, very fast-paced. I was trying to read it slowly, because I really didn’t want it to end. It wasn’t easy to read slowly. I was sad not to read much about Tucker, but when he does appear in the story, it’s heart-breaking, so it’s probably best that there wasn’t too much of him. Christian has grown on me as a character throughout the series. I could really see the reasoning behind Clara ending up with any of them, but as I said, I’m happy with the choice she made.
Clara is still such a fabulous character. It’s so easy to like her. She’s strong and so determined to do what is right both for herself and for those around her. I still really like her friend Angela. I love how her story progressed. So gripping! I also really liked Clara’s brother Jeffrey. It was good to read more about him and his story.
That’s all I’m going to say about the book, because I really don’t want to spoil it. I think it’s best to go into reading this book with as little information as possible. Boundless is a action-packed, dramatic read. In my opinion, it’s a fantastic end to the trilogy. I only wish that there was another book/novella to find out what had happened to the guy Clara didn’t pick.
Would I recommend it?:
Without a doubt!

Oh no!!! I’ve managed to stay pretty spoiler free which was good! This review is a bit of a tease, but I really didn’t want to spoil 😀 hehe!
I bought a copy of Boundless too! But unfortunately I haven’t read the first two books in the series. Your review has done a lot to convince me to get my hands on a copy of Unearthly and start reading! I’m glad you enjoyed it – great review
Thank you Kate. I love the Unearthly series. It’s well worth reading!
I hated the epilogue… I was so sad. I was not happy with how it ended. 😦 But I still have Boundless a 5! It was so good! 😀
Aw! Well, I’m glad you still enjoyed it! 😀
