Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves, be it buying or borrowing. From ‘real’ books you’ve purchased, a book you’ve borrowed, a book you’ve been given or an e-book they can all be shared!

So, last week my haul was the books I actually received for my birthday. This week is the rest of my birthday haul!!

Borrowed from Bibliobeth

My lovely sister sent me some books (she knows the amount I have already, her TBR pile is far worse than mine but we still continue to buy….)

Oh my goodness! So many books that I’m excited to read. 5 of these books are part of the autumn selection of books for a book club my sister and I participate in.

Extras are Nearest Thing To Crazy , I really like the look of this book. My sister sure knows what sort of thing I like.  Miss Peregine’s Home For Peculiar Children, I’ve had my eye on this book for a while. I was also recommended My Cousin Rachel, so it’s fabulous that my sister had acquired a copy and so willingly shared! (I love my sister! 😀 )

Looking at it all is rather overwhelming!! I’m really looking forward to reading Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour and Second Chance Summer as I’ve heard great things about those books. I also can’t wait to continue the Under The Never Sky series with Through The Ever Night. I’m excited for ALL of these books really, I’m just not sure when I’m going to fit them in!

Too many books, too little time…

What have you added to your shelves this week? Feel free to leave your link so I can visit your blog!

  1. That’s one amazing haul, aren’t sisters who love books great? I loved Miss Peregrine, at the time it was pretty unique with all the ‘found’ photos, so hope you like it!

Enjoy your new books and happy reading 🙂

  2. I loved Miss Peregrine. Some of the photos are deliciously creepy. Silver Linings Playbook is good too, somewhat darker than the film. Looks like a great batch of books.

  3. WOW…there are a lot of great books in there!! I’ve read (and highly recommend you read) Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, The Knife of Never Letting Go, and Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour! Many of the rest are on my TBR – I’ll get to them!

    Enjoy your books!

  4. I’m always overwhelmed by my stacks, too. I’m always super excited for the books I get, but I also know I won’t have time for all of them. Miss Peregrine’s, Invisibility, Amy and Roger, and Second Chance Summer have all been on my list for a while now.

I liked Silver Linings Playbook, but was really surprised when I watched the movie about how much they changed.

Great haul this week! I hope you love all your new additions!

    • I know, it’s so hard to not buy so many awesome books though, you don’t want to forget about them, so you buy them, then have to try and find time to fit them in somewhere! Eek.

I haven’t seen the movie yet of Silver Linings Playbook, I’m going to read the book first!

      Thank you! 🙂

  5. Whew! I have the complete set of Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking Trilogy. Sadly, I still don’t have time to read it. I am planning to break up with ARCs soon so I hope I can get to reading the three.

And Crossed, I hope you’d enjoy it more than I did. I have mixed feelings about the whole Matched series.

Happy reading! Thanks for stopping by my STS!

    • I need to break up with ARCs really too, until I catch up. But then there’s always so many more awesome books to keep up with… I have mixed feelings about Matched too, but I’m intrigued to see how the series progresses. Thank you for the return visit! 🙂

  6. Morgan Matson is great. Second Chance Summer and Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour were both fantastic reads. I hear Through The Ever Night was awesome, I still need to read that one myself, hopefully soon! Great haul, enjoy all of your books!

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
