Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves, be it buying or borrowing. From ‘real’ books you’ve purchased, a book you’ve borrowed, a book you’ve been given or an e-book they can all be shared!

As ever, click on the book image to get to its Goodread’s page!

The formatting of this blog was really annoying me. I’ve got a bad ear infection, so couldn’t be bothered to mess around with it. I was excited to get these books though. I forgot I had ordered them, as they took much longer than expected, so it was a lovely surprise for them to arrive.

I’m excited to read OCD, the dude and me by Lauren Roedy Vaughn. I’ve heard some great things about it and it looks like a decent read. I picked up Bitter End by Jennifer Brown and Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson because I loved the books I’ve read from them before. (Jennifer Brown- Hate List, Laurie Halse Anderson- Speak and Wintergirls).

I was very good and only requested one book which was Elizabeth Is Missing by Emma Healey.  It sounds great, so I look forward to checking that one out!

I also downloaded Colleen Hoover’s novella Finding Cinderella, a spin off from the Hopeless series. It’s free! So I just had to…

What have you added to your shelves this week? Feel free to leave your link and I’ll visit your blog at some point this weekend!

  1. I really want to read OCD, The Dude, and Me. I love books with slight themes of psychological disorders (or sometimes just fully about that, but it depends on the disorder and how much I’m willing to cry). Can’t wait to see what you think!

  2. The only book I’ve heard about is Chains, but they all sound really good! I’m definitely adding Elizabeth Is Missing to my to read list, and maybe a couple others as well. I’m trying to add less to my to read list with each passing week, so this will be one of the first tests of my resolve XD

  3. Hey there, Chrissi! All of these books are really new to me. But I am pretty much intrigued with Chains.

I just read its GR synopsis. It’s a very deep and depressing book. Have you already read it? Is it anything like Uncle Tom’s Cabin? And wow, it has a lot of awards and a very good rating at 4.09.

    Have fun reading your beauties!

Thanks for stopping by Thoughts and Pens.

    • Thank you so much for the return visit! 🙂 I haven’t read it yet, I hope to get around to it soon. I’m not sure if it’s like Uncle Tom’s Cabin, but it sure does sound good, if a little depressing!

  4. I want to read Bitter End. Actually, I want to read all of Jennifer Brown’s books since I’ve heard tons of great things about them.
I hope you’ll enjoy all your lovely books & thanks for stopping by my STS! (:

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
