This week, I only expected to get Allegiant, as I’m on a book buying ban as I have a holiday coming up in May/June, so I need to be saving the pennies. However, I ended up getting SO many books. My prize pack came through from winning September’s British Book Challenge, Luna from Luna’s Little Library sent me some books and she also arranged for Hot Key Books to send me some books! My mum also bought me some books when she went on holiday. Wow.

  1. What a beautiful new collections! Your bookshelves must be exploding 😉

I loved Days of Blood and Starlight – and I really enjoyed Allegiant. I’ve heard a lot of hate – even threats against the author… thsoe I don’t understand – but I thought it was fitting. Hope you like it!

You’re going to be so busy with all these books!

    • They really are exploding!

I can’t wait to start the Shadow and Bone series (I don’t know if that’s the name of it!) I’m intrigued but slightly scared to read Allegiant. I guess I won’t go into with massive expectations.

  2. I was going to buy Allegiant but with how the reviews are going I am scared. I don’t want to be all sad by the ending.

  3. Can’t take the credit for Tribute, that one was Liv @ HotKey but glad you liked the others. The sequel to Stray is out soon and I need someone to get excited about with me.

I challenge you to read the Butterfly Novels before December, or at least book 1. If you get to book 2 you will need tissues (I cried buckets). SO happy you liked them all!

    *hugs*

  4. Great haul! I need to get a copy of Allegiant soon, but I’m a little scared of reading it having seen the reviews. Also, Stormbringer looks great, as does The Alchemist’s Daughter. Enjoy your reading!

  5. Lovely haul! I love that series by Louise Rennison and Kissing Booth sounds adorable, it’s added to my TBR list. Congrats on those wins, too. Happy reading, and have a great week!

  6. Haha this is a big haul for only expecting Allegiant. Aren’t bookish surprises the best though 🙂 Happy Reading!

    Thanks for stopping by!

  7. Wow amazing haul! You really do have the best friends. I love Jodi Picoult and was so excited when she released a YA novel, sadly for me it was something I’d give my 10 year old cousin to read, didn’t work for me but hopefully you enjoy it.
I’m already just over 50% in to Allegiant, luckily haven’t seen any spoilers about the end yet but so far it’s my most disappointing read of 2013! So sad, as Divergent is one of my all time favourite books! Enjoy all your reads, you have a lot to get through.

  8. Totally added Forget Me Never and Kite Spirit to my to read list, Princess Ben has been on my list for years, and I added The Princess and the Hound to my list a couple weeks ago. Might be coming back to add some more later, but for now I think two is enough. I’m trying to limit myself! XD
