Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. Each week a new list is posted. This week’s Top Ten is Top Ten Books on My Winter TBR list. I failed with my Autumn TBR only reading 2 of my 10 planned, so I’m going to repeat the list adding two Wintery books!

In no particular order.. (click on images for Goodread’s page!)

Frost Hollow HallEmma Carroll- This book is coming up very soon. I can’t wait to read it. I’ve heard such wonderful things about it.

Let It Snow- John Green, Maureen Johnson, Lauren Myracle– I can’t wait to get stuck into this one. I love a holiday read!

Left DrowningJessica Park- I have wanted to read this book for SO long. Hopefully I’ll get round to it this Winter. I loved Flat-Out Love.

  1. I enjoyed Slide! It wasn’t the best book ever, or anything, but I found it nicely suspenseful. I actually have the sequel on my Kindle but haven’t had a chance to read it yet. And Wither has been on my to-read list for ages! I really need to read that one.

  2. I need to finish the Chemical Garden series, too! I’ve read Wither and Fever, but I own Sever so I really should get around to it at some point. Her other book, Perfect Ruin, was pretty good. Slide was just okay for me. I don’t remember much about it, but I think I liked it for the most part. Nice list. πŸ˜€

  3. Yay! I also have Let It Snow on my Winter TBR! πŸ˜€ I can’t wait to read it! It’s gonna be super fun reading all of the books on our list! πŸ™‚ Happy reading, Chrissi!

  4. Oooh, Let it Snow sounds like a great read for Christmas! I had eleven books on my autumn TBR list (I know, I cheated a little, ssh) and I’ve only read four of them and one was a re-read so I’m not sure if it counts. Ooops! πŸ™‚

  5. I haven’t read Flat-Out Love, but I do have it on my kindle. I’m excited to read it! I’ve had Sever since release day, but haven’t taken it off my shelf yet!! I don’t know why I bother pre-ordering when I rarely read them as soon as they arrive!

  6. I think it’s going to be a common theme today — repeating books from fall (and spring…) because we still haven’t gotten around to them! πŸ™‚ I picked up a copy of Reconstructing Amelia over the summer and still haven’t read it, although I think it sounds really good. Forgot to put in on my list though. Good luck with your winter reading! Looks like you have a lot to enjoy here.

  7. Ooh, I hadn’t heard about Let It Snow before. Thanks for putting it on my radar!

I’m very curious what you’ll think of Fever and Sever. I personally thought Fever was the best of the series, but others have disagreed with me πŸ˜›

  8. I’m not really an Adult Fiction kind of reader, but I’m hoping to slowly change that, and Reconstructing Amelia is one of the books that I hope will successfully transition me into that genre! I hope you enjoy it as well! πŸ˜€

  9. Let it Snow looks like the perfect read for 23rd/24th December when I am curled up in front of the fire, christmas tree lights flashing, snow falling through the window (fingers crossed for snow!) with my big mug of hot chocolate (i really do like hot chocolate!) Never even knew about this one, thanks for adding it to your list! πŸ™‚

  10. I thought Reconstructing Amelia was a really good book, and Left Drowning was amazing! I also really want to read the Fever and Sever series, so that’s going on my “to buy” list for this year (:

  11. I just finished Slide and while I couldn’t really connect with the characters, the concept and story was good enough for me to really enjoy it. I also really need to finish the Chemical Gardens Trilogy. I just need to read Sever though. Hope you get to read a lot of these!

  12. Great list! I read Fever and Sever earlier this year and enjoyed how the series concluded. I hope you do as well.

Good luck with your TBR list and thanks for stopping by my TTT!

  13. Let it Snow sounds really adorable! I wish I had thought to add a Winter themed book to my list. Most of the other books that you’ve mentioned I haven’t yet read either, so I look forward to seeing how you get on with them! Happy reading and thanks for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  14. I like all the snowy themed books! I liked RECONSTRUCTING AMELIA but didn’t love it, but that’s because I don’t care for epistolary writing, personally. I hope you love it! Yes, finish DeStefano…and then finish her new series! *facefall* …I still have to start this…

  15. You know, other than the Destefano series, I honestly don’t know the rest of these. (And I still need to read the Destefano books haha). I’ll have to look the others up!

  16. Oh I’ve ordered Let It Snow! Can’t wait for it to come πŸ™‚ Great list, good luck with the reading. I’m so bad, I did my post of this today, so late… Ah well. Perhaps It will motivate me more to actually get all those books done!
