I’ve heard so many good things about this book, so I was happy to be approved to read it.

I know I shouldn’t be starting any more series right now (I am in the middle of so many…) but I couldn’t resist getting The Iron King by Julie Kagawa in the kindle sale. I’ve only read one book of Patrick Ness’ but I’ve heard great things about A Monster Calls. I’ve heard amazing things about Not A Drop To Drink by Mindy McGinnis too. I’ve wanted to read All The Truth That’s In Me by Julie Berry and Picture Me Gone by Meg Rosoff for a while now too. So, I was incredibly happy to find all these on sale! I don’t know when I’ll get around to them, but hopefully sooner rather than later.

My lovely Gran bought me these books when we went out together last weekend. She picked up more books than me…. (so that’s where I get it from!) I’m really excited to read the Unwind Dystology. I could do without the comparison to The Hunger Games on the cover, but still. I’ve heard good things! Oops. There’s another series to get through too…

What have you added to your shelves this week? Feel free to link me to your posts and I’ll come and visit your blog!

  1. I got We Were Liars a couple weeks ago and I am sooooo excited to read it. I keep opening it and then realizing I still have other books I need to finish first. Not a Drop to Drink looks good, too.

I hope you enjoy them all!

    My StS.

  2. Oh, yes! We were liars sounds extremely good and I hope I’ll be reading it soon enough myself. I kind of enjoyed Wake, though it’s definitely more like for younger teens than an upper YA book which I’d enjoy a bit more I guess. The Truth in Me is supposedly really good oh, and bear with the Iron Fey series because TIK isn’t the best of them, but the series becomes absolutely stunning:) Happy reading!

  3. I just got We Were Liars too and I was super excited! I also just got Not A Drop To Drink for Christmas and I will be reading that soon, I’ve heard a lot of amazing things about that one. I’ve still got to read the Unwind series, it looks really great. I hope you enjoy them all 🙂

  4. I’m with you on being in the middle of so many series but that usually does not stop me from starting new ones (but it probably should.)

I have heard so many great things about Patrick Ness but never read any of his books. I own More Than This and hope to get to it soon.

  5. Not A Drop To Drink looks awesome, and I’ve heard a lot of good things about We Were Liars too. The Iron King looks amazing too. Enjoy your books!

  6. I loved Unwind! I don’t think it’s really like The Hunger Games…the premise is tooootally different. And oh gosh, All the Truth That’s in Me was AWESOME. It’s pretty shocking. It was one of my top-favs from 2013. 🙂 My StS!

  7. All the truth that’s in me is AMAZING! Can’t wait to here what you think of it, I found the narrative beautiful and the ending was so unexpected! Happy reading 🙂
