I have been anticipating these books for SO long. I’ve already read Split Second by Kasie West. I loved it! My review will be coming soon. I’m very happy that I got more Trevor! By the time this post publishes I should have finished Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi.  I’ve found it to be incredibly engaging. I don’t know where it’s going though…

NetGalley:

Quite a mix this week! They all seem to have a common theme though…music! I’m particularly excited to read Ballerina by Edward Stewart. I love books that involve dance.

Borrowed for my sister and I’s ‘Talking About’ feature:

My sister Bibliobeth kindly sent me these books for part of our review feature together. Jodi Picoult’s The Storyteller is the first book we will read and review! I’m really looking forward to it!

What have you added to your shelves this week? Please feel free to leave a comment/link in the comments section and I’ll stop by your blog.

  1. Oh, I love the books you’ve added this week, Chrissi. I alrady read Ignite Me as well, and man, what a great ending to an awesome series. I am in love with Mafi’s prose. It is so beautiful and different I don’t have words to describe it.

I haven’t started Pivot Point series yet, but I look forward to it a lot. All your other books look awesome, too. I hope you’ll enjoy them all.

Thanks for stopping by earlier. Have a fantastic weekend 🙂

    • Tahereh Mafi is just such a beautiful writer. I can’t wait to see what she writes next. The Shatter Me trilogy is fantastic!

I really hope you enjoy the Pivot Point series. It’s fantastic! 😀 Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I need to talk to you about Ignite Me! I need to hear your thoughts! I finished it earlier this week and loved it. Tahereh Mafi is such an amazing author.
I must read Pivot Point soon! Everyone is raving about it.

    Happy reading, Chrissi!

    • Ahhh Lucy! I loved Ignite Me. My review is publishing within the next few days. I was blown away by Ignite Me. The whole book had me gripped. My only gripe with it really was that I felt that the ending was a bit rushed. Everything else was perfect! ❤ I really hope you enjoy Pivot Point too. I adore that series and Kasie West's writing!

      Happy Reading to you too!

  3. I haven’t got anything new yet but fingers crossed my copies of Vampire Academy, Half Bad and How to Love come this week! Happy reading 🙂

Boys Like You looks good… I’m trying to keep myself from requesting it. But I’m sure I’m going to cave at some point. I can’t seem to help myself.

    Enjoy all your goodies!

    My StS.

  6. Split Second!! Ahhhh! I think I’m going to buy it in Hardback since it’s pretty pricey on Kindle so makes more sense. Cannot wait to read it. Longbourn sounds FAB! I can’t wait to read your thoughts on that, I wants it!

    • See, it was the other way around for me when I bought it. The kindle was way cheaper. so I went for that! It is fantastic though. I hope you enjoy it. I’m really looking forward to Longbourn!

  7. I HAVE IGNITE ME TOO!! (So excited, by the way.) Oh gosh, there are so many QUESTIONS that I demand answers to, ASAP. Preferably she will get together with the boy of my choosing. 😉 That’s the important part. Hehe. Thanks for stopping by my STS!

  8. Great haul! I really, really, really need to hurry up and read my copies of Pivot Point, Shatter Me and Unravel Me, have heard so many amazing things about those series. I hope you enjoy them all and thanks so much for checking out my haul 🙂
