The Geography Of You And MeJennifer E.Smith- I was surprised to be approved for this book! But a happy surprise. Looking forward to reading it! I’m excited to read The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski. The cover is beautiful and I’ve heard great things!

These two Point Horror books are the start of a new feature with Beth. We’re still thinking about how to present the feature, but it’ll be so nostalgic for us to revisit these books.

I received my present from the Valentine’s Ninja Book Swap, an idea similar to Secret Santa. I’m so grateful for these presents. Carey was my Valentine’s Ninja! Carey said she bought Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, as she had seen on my blog that it was one of my favourite books. I’m so happy to have a hard copy. I also got Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Another book that has been on my radar for quite some time now!

I was happy to win Danielle’s blogoversary giveaway. I won an Amazon gift certificate. I immediately knew what I wanted! I’ve been wanting to read Thirteen by Tom Hoyle for a while now. It just looks so intriguing. I’ve seen Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer for a while now too, so I thought I’d give that a try! Thanks Danielle!

  1. I do love a nice Amazon Gift certificate! I traded a pile of recently read books on a swap site to get a £10 Amazon voucher which bought my books for this week. So I can tell myself that I didn’t really BUY anything this week…! Enjoy your books!

  2. OMG (Sorry for the teen reaction!). The Perfume was one of my favourite books, I got it from the library when I was young and it’s one of those books that I think about regularly. One of my short stories was even inspired by it. I’ve been searching for it for years, I thought it was a Goosebumps book.

  3. Thirteen Reasons Why is amazing! I was apprehensive before I read it, and was totally kicking myself for waiting to read it.

I also have The Geography of You and Me. I’ve been hearing really good things about it!

  4. the geography of you and me sounds so great! Hope you enjoy all of your new books, I just did my StS and I literally had to call it the “sad contemporary one”, there’ll be a lot of tears coming my way… oh help 😦

  5. Wow, I am jealous of your book hauls every week Chrissi. You have some excellent books here. I read Thirteen Reasons Why a few years ago but the message of the book has really resonated with me. I hope that you enjoy it and I look forward to reading your reviews (as always).

    • Aww! Thanks Amanda. I do try to get a range of reads. I really should stop buying when I’ve got so many to read! 😉 I’m really looking forward to Thirteen Reasons Why.

  6. Great haul! I have serious book envy over The Winner’s Curse, I want that book so bad. I recently got myself Thirteen and am hoping to read it soon, it looks interesting. I hope you enjoy reading them all and thanks for checking out my haul 🙂

  7. The Winner’s Curse! *hyperventilates* I would veeery much like to read that one. Also The Geography of You and Me! That one looks awesome as well. 🙂 My StS!

  8. Thanks for stopping by my STS! I’m excited to read The Winner’s Curse, the cover is to die for! I’m probably the only person in the world who didn’t love Thirteen Reasons Why, but I know a lot of people were huge fans of the book so hopefully it works for you. Happy reading!
