It’s been a quiet week this week for me. Much needed really…
Headline via Bookbridgr:
Black Lake by Johanna Lane is a debut novel which deals with a family tragedy. It sounds really intriguing, so I can’t wait to dive into this one!
Hot Key Books:
Run by Gregg Olsen popped through my letterbox yesterday from the lovely Hot Key Books. It sounds like my sort of book!
Bought:
I have been seeing The Accident by C.L Taylor around a few of my favourite blogs now. I noticed it was just over 60p on the Kindle download, so I totally justified picking up a copy! I’m very much looking forward to getting to this psychological thriller!
I’ve noticed that I’ve got quite a dark theme going on this week! Strange! But exciting nonetheless.
I allow myself to spend on a Kindle book only if it is under a pound! Otherwise I would have about 5000 downloads! I might be restrained there but not when it comes to paperbacks…Enjoy your books!
I think that’s a good rule to live by. I should totally use that rule into my book shopping habits!
I’ll be interested to see what you make of Run, I have a copy but my first Gregg Olsen read didn’t end so well. This sounds really promising though. 🙂
Thanks Luna! I’m not sure what I’ll make of it, but as always, happy to give it a go!
None of these are familiar to me, but I hope you enjoy them all!
Have a great week!
Check out my StS and my current giveaways!
Thanks Kimberly, it is a very varied selection this week!
I haven’t heard of any of these books before now, but I hope you enjoy them. I will have to look for your review of Black Lake. I like the cover and it sounds interesting, but I’m not up to anything too depressing yet after just reading The Fault in our Stars.
No, I know the feeling! I don’t like to read too depressing stuff one after the other. I’ll save it for when I’m in the mood, I think!
All of your books are new to me. I haven’t heard of any of these books before. Nice haul and have a lovely weekend.
