It’s been quite a busy book week! I’m very excited about the books I’ve got though. Again, I’m never sure when I’ll get to them, but hopefully sometime soon! 🙂

Stronger Than YouJolene Perry– I thought this book had an intriguing synopsis. I enjoyed Jolene’s previous book, The Summer I Found You, so I thought I’d give this book a try!

Thirteen WeddingsPaige Toon– I’m a big fan of Paige Toon’s writing, so I was delighted to be approved for this book! I always find her writing a bit different to your average chick-lit. The characters connect to previous books and there’s usually a lot more depth too.

LandlineRainbow Rowell– I’m SO happy that I got approved for this book. I fully intend to read it soon.

The Opposite of LoveSarah Lynn Scheergar– Again, I was intrigued by the synopsis.

A Different MeDeborah Blumenthal– I’m not sure what I’ll make of this book, but I’m very willing to try it out!

Big thanks to publishers Orion, Simon and Schuster UK and Albert Whitman & Company for review copies of these books!

Bought for my kindle:

NumbersRachel Ward– After reading The Drowning and thoroughly enjoying it, I thought it was time to check out this trilogy. I can’t wait to read it, but you know what it’s like… so many books on my kindle to get through!

Throne Of GlassSarah J.Maas– I really shouldn’t be starting more series but I just can’t help it. This author has been on my ‘get-to’ list as soon as I can. Hopefully I can read it soon.

Noughts and CrossesMalorie Blackman– I have heard so many good things about this series. I can’t believe that I haven’t read it before!

The Ask and The AnswerPatrick Ness– I’m looking forward to continuing this series.

WildwoodColin Melot– I’ve seen this book in the shops and around booktube. It looks gorgeous and totally my sort of thing.

BreadcrumbsAnne Ursu– This is based on The Snow Queen. I have a bit of a fairy-tale feel this week!

EverboundBrodi Ashton– I can’t wait to carry on with this series too!

Thousand WordsJennifer Brown– I’ve loved everything that Jennifer’s written so far, so I’m looking forward to seeing if this book gives me the same feels!

Blackberry Blue and Other Fairy-TalesJamila Gavin– I have had this book on my radar for so long now, I’ve finally got my hands on a copy!

What have you added to your shelves this week? Please feel free to leave your link to your post and I’ll stop by! 🙂

  1. You’re so lucky to get Landline! I can’t wait to read it. And I love Throne of Glass, so I hope you enjoy it. Noughts and Crosses is amazing too. Enjoy your books, and have a nice weekend!

  2. I requested Landline too! Hopefully ill be approved for it, which would be awesome cos I’m meeting her on July 11th in my local waterstones!

Noughts and Crosses is brilliant, I have book 2 coming up on my tbr shelf so that’ll be read in June probably! Numbers is pretty good and throne of glass is great!

  3. Landline! ❤ So lucky. I've also read Numbers and enjoyed it. Throne of Glass, not so much. D: I really want to read Everneath and something by Jennifer Brown as well! Happy reading, Chrissi!

  4. I’m hoping to read Noughts and Crosses this month too. I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet either as its been on my radar for so many years. I hope you enjoy Throne of Glass! I can’t wait until the release of the third book in the series.

  5. I have the Patrick Ness trilogy breeding on my shelves upstairs-I think I keep ignoring it for shorter looking books but will get to it eventually! Wasn’t keen on Numbers or Noughts and Crosses so I hope you like them better than I did. Happy reading!

  6. YAY FOR THRONE OF GLASS. It’s my new series obsession. Actually, I’m reaidng The Assassin’s Blade right now! (Sort of. Haha! I’m swamped busy and haven’t read many books this week. Um, like 0. But yeah!) XD My StS!

  7. I can’t wait to read Landline – I’ve loved all the already published Rowell novels, so my expectations for Landline are extremely high.
Have a good weekend and I hope you enjoy all these wonderful books. 🙂

  8. Throne of Glass is fantastic! The main character is brilliant and she makes you just want to read more! Noughts and crosses is also pretty good… Ot was required reading for us in one of our schools – I just don’t remember which one!! 😀 enjoy 🙂

  9. What an AWESOME haul!! I’ve heard SO much about Rainbow Rowell, I’ll just have to start on at least ONE of her books! I also want “Wildwood’, “Throne of Glass”, and “Everbound”!! As for the others, I’m going to check them out on good ol’ Goodreads!
