Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves, be it buying or borrowing. From ‘real’ books you’ve purchased, a book you’ve borrowed, a book you’ve been given or an e-book they can all be shared!
As ever, click on the book image to get to the Goodread’s page!
I’ve got a bigger haul than the past few weeks. Blame pay day and my lack of restraint!
Bought:
Fixing Delilah– Sarah Ockler– I loved Twenty Boy Summer and I’m hoping to read #scandal very soon. I’ve enjoyed Sarah Ockler’s writing, so I decided to pick this book up. It sounds intriguing.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl– Jesse Andrews– I’ve heard so much about this book. I can’t wait to get to it!
Rump– Liesl Shurtliff– This is a retelling of Rumpelstiltskin, it sounds amazing!
The Secret Hum of A Daisy– Tracy Holczer– I think that this is going to be a powerful, emotional read about family.
The Snow Queen– Alana Albertson– This is a dance based novella which I can’t wait to read.
On The Fence- Kasie West– I adore Kasie West’s writing and this book looks like a perfect summer read.
NetGalley:
I’ve seen this book titled as Big Little Lies and Little Lies. Whatever it is, I’m looking forward to reading it after enjoying Liane Moriarty’s book The Husband’s Secret.
Received from author:
Thank you so much to Becky for sending me a copy of this book!
Ninja Book Swap:
I received a lovely parcel from Jen at Dark Readers with this book inside, a journal and a beautiful bookmark.

You NEED to tell me all about Rump, it sounds like my kind of book.
I will! I fully intend to read it soon!
Aaaagh I can’t believe you’ve got the new liane moriarty!!! X
I do! Oh I do! 😉
Oh the fence is a meh for me. 😦 I found it entertaining, but I didn’t get along with the romance.

Oh no, that’s such a shame! I really like Kasie West’s writing. I’m glad you still found it entertaining though, even if the romance was a bit meh!
Yes, On the Fence is adorable! I loved it!
Oh, I like the cover of Fixing Delilah! Also, love David Levithan — hope that one’s good!
Fixing Delilah sounds so intriguing, great haul, hope you enjoy all of your new books!
An amazing collection you’ve got there. Looking forward to your thoughts on Me and Earl and the Dying Girl – I’ve always wondered if I should buy it or not.
I’ve been contemplating Me and Earl and the Dying Girl for a while, and it is being made into a movie as well so there’s that. Have fun reading!
Nice haul and I love the cover on The Snow Queen 🙂
My new pretties 🙂
On the Fence was soooooo good! I hope you love it! I’m pretty sure I have a print copy of Fixing Delilah around here somewhere that I’ve yet to read… I think it’s lost in the second row on my bookshelf.
I hope you enjoy all these!
My StS!
Thnaks Kimberly. I’m excited to get to it…eventually. I’m working my way through Sarah Ockler’s books!
I just binge read Twenty Boy Summer, Bittersweet, and The Book of Broken Hearts because I went to her signings. I still have Fixing Delilah and #Scandal to read next. I LOVED On The Fence! SO cute! I just love best friend romances. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you! Aw. I’m excited to read On The Fence. I love Kasie West and it looks like a perfect summer read!
Nice haul! I love the cover on The Snow Queen and the story looks interesting also. I loved Everyday and hope you enjoy it too 🙂
Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
Have a great week and happy reading 🙂
You’re very welcome! Thanks for the return visit. I’m looking forward to The Snow Queen. It’s a novella too, so I should be able to slot it between reads. 🙂
I seen Me, Early and the Dying Girl around a few months ago, that cover is a real contrast to the morbid title. But it sounds really brilliant, I love how it uses comedy in what is probably the darkest point in the characters lives. I’ve got a copy of On The Fence too that I’m starting soon, I haven’t read any of her other releases, so looking forward to getting stuck into it. Enjoy your lovely new reads and thanks for sharing.
Thank you! I’m really intrigued about the comedy elements too. Hopefully I’ll get to it, sooner rather than later!
Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl sounds really interesting – the title is pretty funny in a morbid sort of way. And don’t worry – I have zero restraint when it’s payday too 😉 Give me two weeks and I’ll be clenching at my wallet again, lol
Yes it does! I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. I’m pretty sure you’re going to buy lots of awesome books come payday that I’ll add to my TBR! 😉
Just finished On The Fence. It was soooooo good.
I’m so glad that you enjoyed it! I love Kasie West’s writing.
I really like the cover for Rump. It wouldn’t be my kind of read but it does look nice! Thanks for visiting my blog!
You’re welcome! Thanks for the return visit. I’m reading Rump as part of a bookish challenge. 🙂
I really want to read Me and Earl and the Dying Girl, probably mostly because it rhymes. It also sounds like a fun read. BUT IT RHYMES TOO.
I KNOW! That just makes it so much better! 😉
Oh my gosh, I really want to look into The Snow Queen. I’m a sucker for ballet books. I liked On the Fence. Not as much as The Distance Between Us, but I definitely enjoyed it.
Happy reading 🙂
I’m a sucker for ballet books too! It’s a novella too, so I should power through it!
I have On the Fence on my Kindle and I can’t wait to get to it! I really love Kasie West’s books! Enjoy your new reads =)
Thanks Heather. I hope you enjoy On The Fence when you get to it! 🙂

Great haul! I recently read On the Fence and really loved it, West never disappoints. I really want to read Me, Earl and the Dying Girl because I have heard so many amazing things. I hope you enjoy your reads this week 🙂 Here’s my STS.
Thank you 🙂 I’m really looking forward to On The Fence. God knows when I’ll fit it in!
I’ve been wanting to read On the Fence for a while. I loved Pivot Point, but I just haven’t had time to pick up West’s other books.
Also, Every Day was very, very good. Enjoy!
Thanks Stephanie. I’m very excited about both of the books you’ve mentioned!
