I’m about a hundred pages away from finishing Replica by Jack Heath. It’s a very short book which is described  as a YA thriller. I’m enjoying it, but I think it would be a better read if it was a longer story.

What did you recently finish reading?

God knows how I’m going to review A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. It’s hard to say something about it now! I thought this book was incredible. So powerful, so beautiful, so poignant!

What do you think you’ll read next?

Bit of a creepy vibe on covers this week! I’m excited to read Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. It won my reader’s choice poll this month! I’m very pleased!

What are you reading this week? Please feel free to answer the questions below or leave me your link. Happy Reading! 🙂

  1. I’m not brave enough to read a monster calls, even though I really want to as a fan of Ness- it’s just a little too close to home for me I think.

Curious to see what you make of Peregrine’s…I can’t decide if I want to read it or not

    • It is an incredibly emotional read. It’s not often a book brings me to tears, but this one really did! I’ve only read a chapter of Miss Peregrine’s so far. It’s very unusual so far.

  2. I am currently reading Miss Peregrine’s – I’ve about 10% to go until I finish. Hope you enjoy it. A Monster Calls looks interesting! I read Ness’s book The Crane Wife earlier in the year and I liked his writing style. Here’s my WWW.

  3. I loved A Monster Calls. So beautiful. I just heard that there’s going to be a movie version, and I can’t even imagine how that would work out.

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
