Top Ten Books On My Autumn To-Be-Read list

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s list are the Top Ten Books on my Autumn (Fall) To Be Read list. I have failed somewhat at the last two TBR lists, so I’m going to bring those books over to Autumn and hope I can get to them. I really do want to! I’ve also just started a postgraduate course, so my reading is going to be incredibly limited for a while. Therefore, I don’t want to add to many new books to this post as I always feel some sort of weird obligation to read them if I’ve put them in a Top Ten post!

Ten Tiny BreathsK.A Tucker– I’ve heard so much about this series. I want to start it and still haven’t!

Picture Me GoneMeg Rosoff– I’ve had my eye on this one for a while!

PointeBrandy Colbert– I adore the cover of this book, and can’t wait to see what it’s like. I do love my dance based books, but haven’t for some reason, got around to this book yet!

The HitMelvin Burgess- I’ve heard good things about The Hit. I’m still intrigued to read it!

RuleJay Crownover– People have been trying to put me off this book but I want to read this book after reading several positive reviews. I think it could be good…but then I’ve also read some really shocking reviews. Hmmm… we’ll see!

Once and ThenMorris Gleitzman– This book seems like it’s going to be a challenging read, but I’ve heard that it’s beautifully written and it’s well worth accepting that challenge!

How To LoveKatie Cotugno- Again, positive reviews have made me want to read this book! I really must get around to it!

600 Hours of EdwardCraig Lancaster- I’ve had this book for a while and hope to finally read it!

If You Find MeEmily Murdoch– I am so influenced by positive reviews. This is another book I hope to tackle!

Maybe SomedayColleen Hoover– That’s it! It’s happening this season. It HAS to.

What are you hoping to read this Autumn/Fall? Please feel free to leave your links to your Top Ten posts and I’ll stop by!

  1. I really want to read The Zig Zag Girl by Elly Griffiths – I’ve heard lots of good things about Ten Tiny Breaths too and you’ve reminded me of Morris Gleitzman who had fallen off my radar, he does write beautifully. Great list as always 🙂

  2. Gorgeous cover on How To Love! Pointe looks really interesting too! I grew up involved in dance but for some reason have never picked up a dance based book (possibly because the few I’ve come across always seemed to have low ratings). Hopefully this one doesn’t disappoint! My TTT

  3. Great list! I’ve been hearing a lot about Ten Tiny Breaths and I really want to read it. How to Love was so good! I haven’t read any of the others but they sound interesting! I really need to pick up a Colleen Hoover book soon!

  4. I love Ten Tiny Breaths! KA Tucker is probably one of the better NA authors I’ve read. Her book coming out this fall, Burying Water, was a great start to a new series as well. I highly recommend that one when you finish the TTB series!

Maybe someday is on my list today as well 😉 The only contemporary I can see myself reading any time soon!

  5. Ten Tiny Breaths, Pointe, Rule, and How to Love are all on my Goodreads TBR list! I was hoping to read Maybe Someday this month but I’m a wait list at my library and currently #15 AHH!! This is my first time hearing about If You Find Me, it sounds so good! I’ve added it to my TBR list. Thanks for sharing & Happy reading 🙂

  6. Ten Tiny Breaths is one of my all-time favorite books! LOVE KA Tucker! Also, you gotta read Maybe Someday. Love CoHo too. I really enjoyed Rule. And dang, I should have picked up How to Love when I had the chance. But I let negative reviews sway me.
