Top Ten New Series That I Want To Start

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful The Broke and The Bookish. Each week they come out with a list for us all to complete. This week’s list are the Top Ten New Series That I Want To Start. The only rule… new means it’s been a year or so! There are so many series that I want to start, so this could be tricky…

In no particular order…

UnrememberedJessica Brody– This book has been on my radar for a while now, I’d like to start it and see if it’s worth reading!

Just One DayGayle Forman- Loads of bloggers seem to love Gayle Forman. I need to see if I do!

The Murder ComplexLindsay Cummings- I’ve heard mixed things about this book, but as always I want to form my own opinion. The premise sounds incredibly interesting!

HexedMichelle Krys– I’m in the mood for a witchy story!

UninvitedSophie Jordan– I have had a copy of this for a while now but was yet to get to it! I’m looking forward to reading it, despite its mixed reviews.

The FalconerElizabeth May– Beautiful cover! I can’t wait to get stuck into this book!

A Thousand Pieces of YouClaudia Gray– I’m not going to lie, it’s the beautiful cover that makes me want to read this.

BullyPenelope Douglas– Not my usual sort of read, but it’s been raved about by people I trust! Hmmm…

The Cuckoo’s CallingRobert Galbraith- I have been putting this book off for ages now as I have high expectations now we know who the author is…

Perfect RuinLauren DeStefano– I loved the Chemical Gardens trilogy, so I’m very much looking forward to Perfect Ruin.

Have you read any of these series? Let me know which ones I should definitely get to! Feel free to leave your link to your Top Ten post and I’ll stop by!

  1. The Cuckoo’s Calling is very different to Harry Potter so don’t go in expecting anything like it! It’s very good though, I really enjoyed it.

I have A Thousand Pieces of You on my list for exactly the same reason. THAT COVER. Amazing.

You have made me curious about The Murder Complex now. I’m off to have a look at it on Goodreads!

  2. I’ve read: Uninvited by Sophie Jordan and Unremembered by Jessica Brody. I enjoyed them but not enough to recommend moving those books to the top of your list. 🙂

  3. The Murder Complex such a scary yet intriguing cover. It sounds like it could be a great book. I also want to read The Cuckoo’s Calling at some point too. Also yes A Thousand Pieces of You has such a beautiful cover.

  4. Interesting choice of books. I’ve only heard of Bully and Gayle Forman but haven’t read any of them. The cover of The Murder Complex intrigues me. I’ll check out the review now 🙂

  5. Once again I…..have not read a single one of these! The Falconer was on my list too though :). And I actually checked out Just One Day! But then I didn’t get to it in time 😦

  6. I loved the Murder Complex, personally. I love many of the books you have there, and want to read pretty much all of them. 🙂

  7. I’m really interested in Uninvited as well, but like you I’ve seen mixed reviews. I just think the premise is so interesting, and presents some of those moral questions that readers will really have to think about if they were confronted with!

  8. Great picks! So many series I want to read but didn’t think of: Unremembered, The Falconer, A Thousand Pieces of You and The Cuckoos Calling. I read Uninvited when it first came out and I loved it, so excited for the sequel. I hope you get to some of these soon 🙂

  9. I have Unremembered as well! Really should start that one, since the final book is coming out soon.

I haven’t read a lot about The Murder Complex, but I’m kind of considering checking it out soon.

Not even going to blame you – that cover for A Thousand Pieces of You is just STUNNING!

  10. I agree with so many of these! Definitely need to start Just One Day, and The Murder Complex, and Perfect Ruin. I have them all, why haven’t I started!? And DEFINITELY A Thousand Pieces of You. I agree, the cover drew me in, but the synopsis sounded great too. I preordered it, I can’t wait! Great list 🙂

  11. It’s the cover of A Thousand Pieces of You that makes me want to read that book too. I barely even know what it’s about, so I’ll be going into it mostly blind. 😀 I enjoyed reading Uninvited! The Falconer and The Murder Complex are pretty good too. I plan to continue with all three series.

  12. The Falconer looks amazing, and the cover is really pretty! I’ve read The Cuckoo’s Calling and I really liked it – I still need to get on with the second book. 🙂 I hope you get to read some of these soon.

  13. Good timing on The Cuckoo’s Calling — I just started The Silkworm over the weekend, and have about 1/3 left to go. Really enjoyable — “Galbraith” knows how to keep the suspense high!
