This Week In Books #11

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy from Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. I shall be sharing what I’m reading now, then and next! I won’t be showcasing my new books as I do that on a Saturday. I’m really excited by this feature as I loved sharing my recent reads. My book reviews published on my blog are often WAY behind what I’m actually reading, so this is a good feature to keep you up to date!

NOW Flat Out MattJessica Park– I’m just about to start this novella. I really enjoyed Flat Out Love, I was surprised as New Adult isn’t a genre that I usually enjoy. I’ve been waiting to read this book for a while now, so I’m glad that I could slot it in!

THEN FourVeronica Roth– I wouldn’t recommend this book if you’re not really into the Divergent series. I enjoyed reading from Four’s point of view, but it doesn’t really add much to the series.

NEXTStar Cursed Jessica Spotswood– Ooh, I’m really looking forward to this book. Don’t be put off by its cover. The first book in this series was SO good.

What are you reading this week? Feel free to leave a link to what you’ve been up to! 🙂 Happy Reading!

  1. I kind of feel the same way as you about Four, which is why I haven’t read it. I loved the Divergent series but I just don’t think it will add much. I just finished Skyscraping (which was AMAZING!!) and I am now reading Hollow City (the second book of the Miss Peregrine’s Peculiar Children series)

  2. I really liked Four. I felt like I knew Four better and I LOVED getting to see the downfall of Dauntless. What it was like back then, how it became corrupt, and then how it is when Tris is there.
Right now i’m reading Tiny Pretty Things by Sona Charaipotra and Dhonielle Clayton. It’s really good and i’m hoping to finish it today.

  3. Mmm, I have Four on my TBR pile and now I’m not sure whether to read it any time soon or not… I enjoyed Divergent but both sequels were a big disappointment. I guess it’s not a long read though so I might read it anyway. Star Cursed sounds like a great read by the way.

  4. I quite like the cover for Star Cursed!

I’ve wondered if I should read Four, he was my favourite character but I didn’t read the last book. I probably should. Meh.
