This Week In Books #13

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy from Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. I shall be sharing what I’m reading now, then and next! I won’t be showcasing my new books as I do that on a Saturday. I’m really excited by this feature as I loved sharing my recent reads. My book reviews published on my blog are often WAY behind what I’m actually reading, so this is a good feature to keep you up to date!

NOWThe Lost GirlSangu Mandanna– I have just started this book, I’ve heard good things and I’ve had it on my shelves for so long now! I’m pleased that I’m finally getting around to it!

THENBittersweetSarah Ockler– I’ve only read a few of Sarah Ockler’s books, so I’m trying to get through a little more of them. I think Sarah’s writing is perfect for summer! It’s so easy to read!

NEXTDead To YouLisa McMann– Again, I’ve had this book for a while now. I’m looking forward to getting stuck into it!

What are you reading this week? Let me know! Feel free to leave a link to your posts today! Happy Reading 😀

  1. I’ll check out Bittersweet – I’m looking for something lighter to read. Sounds like The Night Circus might be a bit of a slog and I’ll need something to cheer myself up after it 😉

    Here’s my WWW post: https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2015/07/08/www-wednesday-8th-july-2015/

By the way, I was wondering: would you think about doing reviews of children’s books when you start using them with your class? I’d be interested – always looking for new things to read with my toddler/books to buy my nieces/nephews as presents. And what better review than “my entire class loved it”?

    • Yes! 🙂 I shall definitely consider it! I’m planning to read to my class A LOT! Thank you for the suggestion!

Bittersweet is certainly a lighter read, not the most amazing book, but good to fill in gaps between heavier reads.

  2. Dead To You sounds like such an interesting read that I just had to add it straight to my wishlist… I hope you enjoy it!

    Thanks for visiting my WWW!
