This Week In Books #40

I am joining in with the lovely Lipsy from Lipsy’s Lost and Found’s feature which highlights our week in books. I shall be sharing what I’m reading now, then and next! I won’t be showcasing my new books as I do that on a Saturday. I’m really excited by this feature as I loved sharing my recent reads. My book reviews published on my blog are often WAY behind what I’m actually reading, so this is a good feature to keep you up to date!

Down with the Shine The Girl in the Blue Coat Little Girl Gone

NOWDown With The ShineKate Karyus Quinn– I really enjoy Kate’s writing. It’s so unique and her stories are often very, very strange. In this story, there’s some moonshine which happens to grant wishes. I’m about halfway through at the moment and I’m finding it very gripping!

THEN- The Girl In The Blue Coat- Monica Hesse– I love stories that are set in WWII. I find them so interesting yet incredibly harrowing. This was a fantastic story with some very poignant moments.

NEXTLittle Girl Gone Alexandra Burt– I have had this book on my TBR for what seems like forever. I love a psychological thriller, so I can’t wait to step into this one next!

What have you been reading this week? Feel free to leave me a link to your post or a similar meme and I’ll stop by! Happy Reading 😀

  1. All your books sound really good. I have only read one book set in WWII,The Book Thief. I look forward to your review of The Girl in the Blue Coat. Enjoy all your books this week.Happy Reading!

  2. Two books with Girl in the title! 🙂 Despite the pink and the baby objects, I have a creepy feeling when I look at the cover of Little Gone Girl.
    Happy reading!

  3. I enjoyed Down With the Shine – but I felt like it got too far fetched along the way, and the ending left me underwhelmed. Little Girl Gone sounds really intriguing …
