The Transatlantic Book Project: Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone

I have loved being a part of The Transatlantic Book Project hosted by Alicia from A Kernel Of Nonsense and Rachel from Confessions of A Book Geek. You can see my previous post on our first book The Strange and Beautiful Sorrows of Ava Lavender here.  This time around, we read Harry Potter and The Philosopher’s Stone. The project involves two books travelling around 10 book bloggers. There’s 5 of us in the UK and 5 in the UK. We annotate the book and then send it onto the next person with a little gift.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)

Thank you to Charnell from Reviews from a Bookworm for the lovely gifts that I received in my package! ❤

I LOVED revisiting Harry Potter and it was really interesting to see what other readers thought. I also thought it was fascinating to rediscover some links between further books in the series. It’s all so CLEVER! I will always be a Harry Potter fan and it’s never boring to reread this series. I feel like I get something new from it each and every time.

I still have some trouble annotating a book, but it really was a pleasure to be part of this project. It’s been so much fun and I’ve loved interacting with likeminded bookworms within the pages of the book. My fellow bookworms are very witty, very observant and just awesome bloggers!

The book has now made its way to Ashley, from Nose Graze! It’s all very exciting and I’m looking forward to seeing what the book turns out like!
