I’m thankful that this beautiful book is out there for everyone to enjoy. It’s an incredible book with such wonderful characters.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Harry Potter, #1)

I absolutely loved growing up with this amazing series.

Such a heart-warming read.

A simply beautiful book!

I’m forever thankful that Matt was so honest in this memoir.

Me Before You (Me Before You, #1)

This book broke my heart. I absolutely adored it. It’s a book I highly recommend to many, even those that don’t enjoy women’s fiction.

The Reason I Jump-Naoki Higashida

The Reason I Jump: The Inner Voice of a Thirteen-Year-Old Boy with Autism

This book struck a chord with me. It made me think differently about autism.

Matilda- Roald Dahl

Matilda

I was happy to discover Matilda, the wonderful bookworm, when I was younger! I still love her now!

Goodnight Mister Tom- Michelle Magorian

Goodnight Mister Tom

I remember reading this for the first time in secondary (high) school. I was absolutely blown away by this book. It captured my attention and has a very special place in my heart.

Lord Of The Flies- William Golding

Lord of the Flies

Another book I discovered at school. I loved it then and it’s a book I’ve reread a few times.

Which books are you thankful for? Let me know! Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating this week!

  1. “One” is a novel that caught my eye way back when it released, but I never did circle back to it. Still, seeing it on your list has reminded me, and perhaps at some point I’ll actually get it read. *she says about every TBR book* 😉

Of course, “Me Before You” is also on that eventual-TBR, too!

    Happy Thanksgiving, Chrissi!

  2. Ooooh I love that you included Lord of the Flies on your list! I’ve read it twice (once for English class in high school) and really enjoyed it despite the fact that seemingly everyone else seemed to think it was bizarre and stupid. There are so many important topics for discussion within this small book!

  3. Harry Potter made my list too (as it probably did many others as well!) I completely forgot about Matilda, but that was the book that made me realise it was ok to always want to read at playtime! Great list!

  4. I loved Simon and especially adored the way Abertalli told that love story. Me Before You is such an epic cry book for me. It was just about unconditional love, if you ask me, and it broke me in the best way.

  5. Me Before You was such an emotional read. My puffy eyes was proof then. But I can’t get over how it turned out. This was a great read nonetheless 🙂

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
