Top Ten Books That Have Been On My TBR Forever

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It’s all about love of lists, love of literature and bringing bookish people together.

Magic Under Stone- Jaclyn Dolamore (added to my TBR in 2013)

Magic Under Stone (Magic Under, #2)

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, so goodness knows why I haven’t read it yet!

Mistakes In The Background- Laura Dockrill (added to my TBR in 2013)

Mistakes in the Background

I fully intended to read this when I added it to my TBR. Yet it’s still there…

The Chance You Won’t Return- Annie Cardi (added to my TBR in 2014)

The Chance You Won't Return

I loved the look of this book, but never got around to actually reading it!

Exquisite Captive- Heather Demetrios (added to my TBR in 2014)

Exquisite Captive (Dark Caravan Cycle, #1)

I don’t know why I’ve not got around to this one. I love Heather’s writing!

The Queen Of Bright and Shiny Things- Ann Aguirre (added to my TBR in 2015)

The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things

This book was everywhere! I put it on my TBR and never got around to it…

Seven Ways We Lie- Riley Redgate (added to my TBR in 2015)

Seven Ways We Lie

Another one that was all over the blogs, but I’m still yet to read!

The Killing Jar- Jennifer Bosworth (added to my TBR in 2015)

The Killing Jar

I was put off by mixed reviews, but I am super intrigued by this book still.

Tell Me Three Things- Julie Buxbaum (added to my TBR in 2016)

Tell Me Three Things

I really must read this book soon!

Broken Dolls- Tyrolin Poxty (added to my TBR in 2016)

Broken Dolls (Broken Dolls, #1)

I’ve just been reminded how much I want to read this!

The Sisters- Claire Douglas (added to my TBR in 2017)

The Sisters

I fully intend to read this as soon as I can. Too many books…too little time.

What has been on your TBR for ages? Feel free to leave a link to your post and I’ll stop by!

  1. I’ve had ‘Queen’ on my shelf for a LONG while now too; it looks super cute! ‘Captive’ is one I was curious about way back when its cover was unveiled, but I never picked up a copy (nor have I read Heather’s books); recently did add ‘Three Things’ to my shelf though after liking Julie’s recent YA. Needless to say, now I need to read that one. 🙂

  2. Mistakes in the background is just an interesting cover! I know how you feel about meaning to read a book but not doing so…

  3. I haven’t read any of these — the cover for Seven Ways We Lie is the one that really draws me in the most. Maybe I’ll check it out! Good luck with all your TBR books!

  4. Exquisite Captive has also been on my list forever. I think I haven’t read it for two reasons: I’ve heard some not so great things, and also, I’ve only read Heather’s contemporary novels. I’m just afraid I’m not going to like this. 🤷🏼

  5. There are so many books hanging around my TBR list that I hang my head in shame. Can’t say I’ve read any of the books on your list, but Tell Me Three Things sounds superb. I added it to my Goodreads shelf. Hope you get to polish these off soon.

Thanks for visiting The Book Connection.

  6. So funny because The Chance You Won’t Return and Exquisite Captive have both been on my TBR for about the same length of time- and I own both, still unread 😂 The Killing Jar and Bright and Shiny Things both used to be on mine, but they got kicked off hahah.

  7. I haven’t read any of these, but now I want to add several of them to my wish list. You should hurry up and read them so I know if I will like them too! 🙂

  8. Oh my goodness, read Seven Ways We Lie! It’s so good! I liked Riley Redgate’s newer book Noteworthy even more!

Good choices, feel free to check out my TTT list 🙂
