10 Books On My Autumn TBR

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It’s all about love of lists, love of literature and bringing bookish people together.

This week’s list is all about books we want to get to this Autumn (Fall). I’ve decided to go for some books on my Kindle that I really do need to get around to!

As ever, click on the book image to get to the Goodreads page!

Missing Pieces

This is a book that I got after reading many reviews, as is the case for most of the books on this list!

Mine

This book has mixed reviews, but I’m still intrigued!

Only Child: An Incredibly Powerful Novel You Won't Be Able to Put Down

I am intrigued by this book which centres around the aftermath of a school shooting.

The Fear

I’m up to date with C.L Taylor’s books after this one!

The Foster Child: 'a sleep-with-the-lights-on thriller'

I remember reading wonderful reviews about this book! 🙂 Looking forward to it!

Where the Missing Go

Ooh I’ve been looking forward to this one!

The Visitor

I’m a big fan of a psychological thriller!

The Innocent Wife

I love that question of the cover. I’m intrigued. Why so scared?

Before I Let Go

I’m so nervous about reading this book because I’ve heard such mixed things.

Friend Request

I have this book waiting to be read for a while, but haven’t yet got around to it! Hopefully in Autumn.

I realise that my list is quite thriller heavy. So I don’t get a reading slump, I’ll be slipping other genres in-between these books. Fingers crossed that I get around to them!

What are you reading this Autumn/Fall? Let me know! Leave me a link and I’ll stop by!

  1. I haven’t heard of ANY of these, but I see a trend on your list: all about the mysteries! 🙂 Gotta’ love a good mystery in the autumn season. Happy fall TBR-ing, Chrissi – and thanks for the Finding Wonderland visit.

  2. Ooh I like the look of these! The Fear and The Foster child look great, and so does The Visitor (I’ve had that on my Kindle for forever, I need to read it). I did read friend Request and it was pretty good as I recall.

  3. Fall is the perfect time for thrillers (and mysteries and anything scary). I don’t have any on my lists, but I am looking forward to cooler weather and something a little bit scary.

  4. It looks like you have a wonderful selection of suspenseful reads here – which I’d perfect for an autumn TBR! I hope they live up to the hype and keep you engrossed right into winter!

  5. Great list, Chrissi! I’ve listened to The Only Child on audio- it was very good, and I LOVE Jenny Blackhurst so much I ordered that book from The Book Depository so I could get it earlier than the US release! (But I haven’t read it yet. 😂)

  6. So many good stuff here!
I read The Fear and i liked it a lot!
I also have the Innocent Wife and Friend Request on my list – i’m planning to read them by the end of this year.

I didn’t know Missing Pieces before, but i love that cover! ❤

  7. I’m still in my reading slump, but I have been dipping my toes into Neil Gaiman’s Norse Mythology book. I think short stories are the way to go for reading slumps, at least they are for me this time around. Good luck with your TBR. 😀

  8. I keep putting off reading Before I Let Go because of all the mixed reviews, but I think I’m just going to dive in. Maybe I’ll listen to it on audio? It’s not very long. Hope you enjoy these!

    Here’s my TTT.

  9. It’s been so long since I’ve read a good mystery. Going to have to check these out more, many are brand new to me!

  10. Ooh, looks like you have some great selections here! My book group just added Only Child to our calendar for 2019 — really looking forward to it! Enjoy your autumn reads!

  11. I read these lists and I start to panic. There are so many books out there that I haven’t even heard of and now I want to look into them. But my TBR is already over 100 books long. If I just read them it would take me over a year to finish the list without adding new titles (which I do all the time.) Eek! My Fall TBR list

  12. Only Child sounds interesting. Hopefully you’ll get to read all of your TBR this fall! I think I’ll probably get to mine, since I tend to make a priority with library books I put on hold for months and new releases, and I have several of those, but we’ll see.

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
