Top Ten Backlist Books That I Want To Read

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It’s all about love of lists, love of literature and bringing bookish people together.

This week’s list is all about those pesky books that we’re yet to get around to.

As ever, click on the book image to get to the Goodreads page!

The Alchemist- Paulo Coelho

The Alchemist

I was sent this book quite a while ago and I’ve never got around to reading it. Oops.

Gilded Cage- Vic James

Gilded Cage (Dark Gifts, #1)

Another one that I’ve had for a while and never got around to.

Caraval- Stephanie Garber

Caraval (Caraval, #1)

Are you sensing a theme here? Still haven’t got around to this.

My Not So Perfect Life- Sophie Kinsella

My Not So Perfect Life

I used to read her books religiously, but I’ve had this one waiting to be read for quite some time.

Where She Went- Gayle Forman

Where She Went (If I Stay, #2)

I keep meaning to get around to this one, but never do!

Friend Request- Laura Marshall

Friend Request

I know this book is fairly new, but I still want to get to it, because I’ve had it for a while!

Magic Under Stone- Jaclyn Dolomore

Magic Under Stone (Magic Under, #2)

I need to prioritise this book. I keep putting it on lists and never getting to it.

Safe With Me- K.L Slater

Safe With Me

I keep meaning to read this author and never get around to it…

Gemina-Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Gemina (The Illuminae Files, #2)

I would love to continue with this series!

Without Merit- Colleen Hoover

Without Merit

I need to catch up with all things CoHo!

Have you read any of the books on my list? Let me know! Feel free to leave a link to your post and I’ll stop by.

  1. I’ve read Where She Went and I have to admit, I didn’t like it as much as If I Stay. But it’s definitely still worth reading! And I’d forgotten about Caraval! It was one of my most anticipated books of 2017 so hopefully I can get around to reading it someday soon!

  2. I’ve read The Alchemist. I enjoyed it, it’s a short novel, a symbolic book about following our hearts and dreams, and reading the omens we encounter in our lives.

  3. Great list, Chrissi! Don’t worry, I’m the same – I seriously need to catch up on the books I’ve been sent for review, there’s just so much I want to read and so little time to read it all in. I need to check the Illuminae books out, though, I keep hearing good things.

  4. Ahh Where She Went – MY HEART. I loved it even more than If I Stay. It was so good!

I read Caraval a couple of months ago and really didn’t like it; however, I gave the sequel a try and LOVED IT. Second chances are good! ;D

    My TTT post!

  5. Great list Chrissi! I also need to catch up with CoHo soon. I have a copy of All Your Perfects and Without Merit on my soon to read TBR. I hope that you will enjoy all these titles when you get the chance to read them 🙂

Comments make me smile and I love to reply to them! Thanks for visiting today!
