The Ten Most Recent Additions To My TBR (2019)

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It’s all about love of lists, love of literature and bringing bookish people together.

Today’s list is all about the most recent additions to our TBR. As ever, click on the book image to get to the book’s Goodreads page.

The Love & Lies of Rukhsana Ali

I really enjoy reading books about characters with different faiths. This one sounds like a good one!

Stain

I’ve pre-ordered this book. I’m really looking forward to reading it! It’s inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s The Princess and The Pea.

Our Year of Maybe

I enjoyed this writer’s debut so I’m looking forward to the next one!

Only a Breath Apart

I need to catch up with Katie McGarry’s books, but I’ve added this one to my TBR!

No One Here Is Lonely

This sounds like a fantastic read. They mentioned for fans of Adam Silvera…and I was sold.

Fame, Fate, and the First Kiss

I love Kasie West’s writing. I’m looking forward to reading this one.

Sorry Not Sorry

This book sounds excellent! I’ve heard good buzz around it so far.

Tell Me Everything

I am very intrigued by this book too. It looks like a great contemporary.

Two Can Keep a Secret

I can’t stop thinking of the Pretty Little Liars show when I read the title. Excited about this one!

Famous in a Small Town

I like to dip into fluffy reads every now and then. It’s good for my soul, I promise! This one looks perfect for that.

What have you recently added to your TBR? Let me know!

  1. I don’t think I’ve seen “Tell Me Everything” on any list or on Goodreads. Certainly makes me want to take a second look. YAY for the Kasie West add-on (cannot wait to read this one!), and someday I’d really like to read a novel by Katie McGarry. Her books sound so interesting, I just haven’t read one. Yet. 😀

  2. I noticed Stain on a few people’s most-anticipated lists earlier this month and it’s on my TBR now. And I’m keen to read Two Can Keep a Secret (eventually I will read One of Us is Lying, too) – it also reminds me of the PLL theme song every time I see it!!

Here’s my TTT if you want to check it out!

  3. Great list! I was also interested by many of these books but am waiting for word of mouth before being too excited about these. Funnily enough, I actually am planning to start Famous in a Small Town today. Have high hopes for this one!
Anyways, hope you enjoy reading all these books! 😀

  4. Great list, Chrissi! I love the cover of Famous in a Small Town. I really enjoyed One of Us is Lying so I’m definitely reaching for Two Can Keep a Secret the next time I’m in the mood for a thriller. The Love & Lies of Rukhsana Ali sounds really good.

  5. Fluffy reads can be excellent choices! I may have to look into this one as well. I love the covers for Sorry Not Sorry and The Love & Lies — they look like such fun! Enjoy 🙂

  6. I’d really love to pick up something of Emma Mills one of these days. Everyone raves about her works and I’d love to give it a shot someday. 🙂
