Looking Ahead- This Month’s TBR (March)

Welcome to my Looking Ahead post for March. In February, I nearly managed to read all of the books on my TBR post.

Here are this month’s books! Thanks to Tina over at Reading Between The Pages for hosting! As ever, click on the book image, if you want to add it to your Goodreads TBR!

Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine

Goodreads Synopsis:

Eleanor Oliphant leads a simple life. She wears the same clothes to work every day, eats the same meal deal for lunch every day and buys the same two bottles of vodka to drink ever weekend.

Eleanor Oliphant is happy. Nothing is missing from her carefully timetabled existence. Except, sometimes, everything…

I am currently reading this book and I’m hoping to get a good chunk of it read tonight, during my reading night with my sister, Beth. ❤

I Have Lost My Way

Goodreads Synopsis:

Around the time that Freya loses her voice while recording her debut album, Harun is making plans to run away from home to find the boy that he loves, and Nathaniel is arriving in New York City after a family tragedy leaves him isolated on the outskirts of Washington state. After the three of them collide in Central Park, they slowly reveal the parts of their past that they haven’t been able to confront, and together, they find their way back to who they’re supposed to be. Told over the course of a single day from three different perspectives, Gayle Forman’s newest novel about the power of friendship and being true to who you are is filled with the elegant prose that her fans have come to know and love.

I am intrigued to read more from Gayle Forman. I see this has mixed reviews on Goodreads but I’m excited to check it out.

Uncle Bobby's Wedding

Goodreads Synopsis:

Bobby and Jamie are getting married, but Bobby’s niece Chloe is worried that she won’t be his favorite person anymore. Will Uncle Bobby still think she is special? Sarah Brannen’s warm story is set in an alternative family as Uncle Bobby marries his boyfriend. Uncle Bobby’s Wedding embraces Bobby’s relationship with Jamie, but keeps its focus where it truly belongs: on an uncle and niece’s love for each other.

Beautifully told and charmingly illustrated, this simple yet moving story begs to be read time and again.

I am excited to read this cute book for our Banned Books feature. I imagine it’s banned because it contains LGBT characters. *sigh*

The Titan's Curse (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #3)

Goodreads Synopsis:

It’s not everyday you find yourself in combat with a half-lion, half-human.

But when you’re the son of a Greek god, it happens. And now my friend Annabeth is missing, a goddess is in chains and only five half-blood heroes can join the quest to defeat the doomsday monster.

Oh, and guess what? The Oracle has predicted that not all of us will survive…

We return to Percy Jackson for our kid-lit feature. I’m looking forward to this one.

What are you reading this month? Let me know!
