Top Ten Tuesday- 10 Releases I’m Excited About For The Second Half Of The Year

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It’s all about love of lists, love of literature and bringing bookish people together.

This week it’s all about books that we’re eagerly anticipating! I like these lists, although I know this week my TBR will grow. Argh! Oh well, it’s worth it! 😉

As ever, book images go to Goodreads!

All the Bad Apples

I am intrigued by this book. I liked The Accident Season and I’m intrigued to read this story.

The Best Lies

I love a good mystery and this one sounds like it could be good!

Say You Still Love Me

I don’t often read this kind of book anymore, but I do like K.A Tucker’s writing, so I’m interested in this one.

Color outside the Lines

I enjoy a lot off the authors that are featured in this anthology. I’m looking forward to it.

The Downstairs Girl

As you can tell, I like to vary my reading and this one sounds like a great piece of historical fiction.

Full Disclosure

This book sounds like it could be very powerful. It’s about a character that is HIV positive.

Color Me In

I’m all about diverse reads and this one looks like a decent YA read!

Maybe This Time

I can’t resist a bit of Kasie West’s writing! It’s perfect for a light read.

Wayward Son (Simon Snow, #2)

I am so intrigued by this one. I’m wondering where it could go!

Wilder Girls

This book sounds SO good.

Which releases are you looking forward to for the last half of this year? Let me know! Feel free to leave a link to your post and I’ll stop by!

  1. KASIE WEST! Cannot wait for this one. Didn’t add it to my list today because it’s in a video I posted, but it’s a HIGH PRIORITY read for me. 🙂 Also, I just saw someone on YouTube talk about K.A. Tucker’s books, but haven’t ever read one. The covers are sure pretty though!

  2. I read The Best Lies and it was quite well written. MUCH darker than I thought it would be. My arc review will hopefully be up this week. I got the arc for the new KA Tucker as well, so fingers crossed. I’m freaking DYING to read Wilder Girls.

  3. All these are new to me. I am intrigued by Full Disclosure and Wilder Girls. I hope that you will enjoy all these books when you get to read them.

  4. I’m mostly looking forward to Sleepwalker by Joseph Knox, The July Girls by Phoebe Locke, Elevator Pitch by Linwood Barclay, the new Michael Malone (forgot the title 😳) and Blood Song by Johanna Gustawsson.

  5. Wayward Son and The Downstairs Girl are on my TTT list as well and for good reason. Both Rainbow Rowell and Stacey Lee are my favorite authors. I totally forgot that Color outside the Lines is coming out soon and that is definitely on my TBR list.

  6. I can’t wait for Kasie West’s new novel either! I love all of her stuff so much. All The Bad Apples looks so good too – that cover really intrigues me! (I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I can’t help it sometimes, especially when they look that good!)

  7. First of all ALL OF THESE COVERS ARE BEAUTIFUL. H-O-W. I’m a sucker for all of them. I had no idea Kasie West had a new novel coming out! I guess I’ve been living under a rock. Oops! Also, never heard of All the Bad Apples but I’m 99.9% sure I am intrigued now because that cover is so eye-popping with that red. Something about it!

Basically, YES, to all of these books. And I may or may not be making grabby hands at them.

  8. One of the upcoming releases I’m most excited about is the next book in Sinead McGuire’s ‘Wayward Children’ series, because I just read ‘In an Absent Dream’ a few weeks ago and I want more! 🙂 From the books on your list I’m interested in reading ‘Full Disclosure’ and ‘Wilder Girls.’
