British Books Challenge 2014: The round up!

The British Book Challenge was set up to show support for British Authors. By signing up I promised to read at least 12 books by British Authors. That’s equal to one book a month.

It’s safe to say that I exceeded this challenge this year.

Welcome to another WWW Wednesday! To participate in WWW Wednesday, you need to answer three questions.

•What are you currently reading?
•What did you recently finish reading?
•What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m reading this book for my ‘Talking About’ feature with my sister, Beth. We’re a bit behind on our list of books to read, so we’re trying to catch up. I’m not overly sure that Longbourn is my sort of thing, but I’m looking forward to trying it. I finished my book late last night, so I’m literally just starting this book today.

What did you recently finish reading?

I had been really anticipating reading Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard. I’d heard so many good things about it. I thought it was a wonderful book with some very quotable passages.  It’s a great book for an armchair adventure.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I didn’t like Morgan Matson’s Amy and Roger’s Epic Detour as much as I had hoped I would, so I’m kind of nervous about starting this book. I’ve heard good things about it though. It’s not as light-hearted as it might seem though!

What are you reading this week? Have you read any of these books? Feel free to leave me your link to your WWW Wednesday post and I’ll stop by your blog! Happy Reading! 🙂

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you’re adding to your shelves, be it buying or borrowing. From ‘real’ books you’ve purchased, a book you’ve borrowed, a book you’ve been given or an e-book they can all be shared!

As ever, click on the book image to get to the Goodread’s page!

I have been anticipating these books for SO long. I’ve already read Split Second by Kasie West. I loved it! My review will be coming soon. I’m very happy that I got more Trevor! By the time this post publishes I should have finished Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi.  I’ve found it to be incredibly engaging. I don’t know where it’s going though…

Quite a mix this week! They all seem to have a common theme though…music! I’m particularly excited to read Ballerina by Edward Stewart. I love books that involve dance.

Borrowed for my sister and I’s ‘Talking About’ feature:

My sister Bibliobeth kindly sent me these books for part of our review feature together. Jodi Picoult’s The Storyteller is the first book we will read and review! I’m really looking forward to it!
