Book Tag- Books Beginning With W.I.N.T.E.R

I had seen this post on Beth’s blog. She originally got the idea from one of her favourite booktubers Lauren And The Books who did it with the word CHRISTMAS. Beth decided to take on that challenge and make it seasonal.

Today I will be taking the word WINTER and finding books on my TBR that start with those letters.

Ten Books I Meant To Read In 2018 But Didn’t Get Around To

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January 2018. It’s all about love of lists, love of literature and bringing bookish people together.

This week we’re looking at 10 books that we intended to read in 2018 but didn’t get around to. As ever, book images go to Goodreads.

When The Curtain Falls

I am intrigued by this book because I’ve heard really mixed reviews. Hopefully I’ll get around to it soon!

People Like Us

Oh my goodness. I’ve mentioned wanting to read this for so long now. I need to make it a priority really.

Sam & Ilsa's Last Hurrah

I really like David Levithan, so goodness knows why I haven’t got around to this yet.

The Dangerous Art of Blending In

I need to get to this book. I’ve had it for long enough…

Magic Under Stone (Magic Under, #2)

This one is coming up soon for me! I have to do it.

The Visitor

I really need to start reading K.L. Slater. I’ve heard so many wonderful things about this author.

Where the Missing Go

I love a good thriller and I intended to read this in December! I might get to it this month though.

The Fear

This is the only C.L. Taylor book that I haven’t read yet, I need to read it!

The Careful Undressing of Love

I adore this cover. I really liked the sound of this when I came across it in 2017, but I’m yet to read it.

Words on Bathroom Walls

This book really appealed me because I enjoy reading books about mental health. I hope to try and read it this year.

What did you intend to read in 2018 but didn’t get around to? Have you read any of these books? Let me know!

Top Ten Anticipated Books For The Second Half of 2017

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s list is about the upcoming releases for the rest of this year. I feel like I’m behind on the releases in the first half of this year. I really need to sort that out!

Love the sound of this book! 🙂 I enjoy exploring books that centre around mental health and this one includes a character with depression.

The Nowhere Girls

This book sounds incredibly heavy-going as it explores rape culture.

Words on Bathroom Walls

I am so intrigued by this book, it centres around a character with schizophrenia.

Kaleidoscope Song

I am super excited about this books release! It sounds fantastic and I love the cover.

There's Someone Inside Your House

So intrigued by this one. I only know cutesy from Stephanie Perkins.

The Disappearances

I absolutely adore this cover and the synopsis has me very curious.

Little & Lion

Ooh, another mental health plot line. I enjoyed Pointe by Brandy Colbert, so I’m looking forward to this one!

Lucky in Love

I have to include a typical contemporary on this list, since it takes us over summer. Kasie West’s writing is adorable and so easy to read!

How To Disappear

I enjoyed this author’s debut novel, so I’m intrigued to pick up another book by her!

Bad Romance

This is one of my most anticipated releases this year! Let’s hope I haven’t hyped it too much!
