I have been very good this week as I’m going to see Luna this week from Luna’s Little Library with my sister Beth. I’m pretty sure I’m going to come back with lots of books…so next week’s haul might be…interesting!

I’m so intrigued to read Dorothy Must Die. I’m probably going to bump it up the TBR pile as soon as I can.  My mum bought me Susan Lewis’ Never Say Goodbye. She had heard that it was an emotional, good read, so hopefully I’ll get to it soon.

So there it is, my very small haul this week! What did you add to your shelves? Please feel free to leave a link and I’ll come and visit your blog after I get back from Luna’s!

My sister bought this book in Hay, last year before it started to win loads of awards and praise. Good call, Beth! I’m really enjoying this book so far. I’m not very far into it, but I think it could potentially be one of the best books that I’ve read this year.

The hype monster got me with this book. I was expecting amazing. It was good, but not amazing. My review will follow soon!

I’m looking forward to starting this book by Katie Davis. It looks like it’s going to be an emotional read!

Bought in London:

I have been wanting to read Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano for so long. I just couldn’t resist it. I’ve heard great things about She Is Not Invisible by Marcus Sedgwick too. Dead To You by Lisa McCann looked SO good. It had to be mine. Golden Boy by Abigail Tarttelin was literally thrown into my hands and demanded that I bought it by my friend Rachel. I hope it’s good! Just Like Fate by Cat Patrick and Suzanne Young has been on my radar for a while now too. Looking forward to reading that! I also really liked the look of The Love Song of Jonny Valentine by Teddy Wayne.

From Hot Key Books (thanks to the lovely Luna!):

Luna got me a selection of books from the lovely Hot Key Books. I’m particularly looking forward to reading The Lovely and The Lost by Page Morgan and Love Letters To The Dead by Ava Dellaira. Really, I’m looking forward to them all, but these two are being bumped up the TBR pile. Luna also kindly lent me her copy of Say Her Name by James Dawson which I’m reading very soon. So excited about it.

A bit of a range of books here, as usual! I bought This Is What Happy Looks Like, as I received The Geography of Me and You last week and remembered I’d missed out on a Jennifer E.Smith book. This isn’t a series, but if I like an author, I try to read all of their books. I bought Obsidian as I’ve heard SO much about Jennifer L. Armentrout that I thought it was time to read her work. Obsidian is the book that was suggested to me. I bought Half Bad by Sally Green as I’d heard so much about it, by bloggers and also those pesky adverts on Goodreads that always intrigue me. A lot of my blogging friends are talking about Trouble by Non Pratt and How To Love by Katie Cotugno, so of course… I had to get them.

Bought from The Works online. Naughty, but nice prices!:

I took advantage of the offers on The Works website. Do Me No Harm looks like a great thriller from Julie Corbin. I’ve also heard amazing things about Have A Little Faith by Candy Harper. I loved Paige Harbison’s Here Lies Bridget, so I’m looking forward to New Girl. I liked the synopsis of Wife 22 by Melanie Gideon, so I picked that up as well!

I adore Cat Clarke’s writing, so I can’t wait to read this soon!

Hot Key Books:

A massive thank you to Hot Key Books for sending me these copies. I am so excited to read both of these books. I loved The Quietness by Alison Rattle. The End Of The World As We Know It by Iva-Marie Palmer looks brilliant too!

Me Month March

I’m so excited to let you know about my Me Month March. I’ve been a good girl and got up to date with all my ARCs, so I have published or will publish everything I had for March. This means, I have free reign to read what I want to read for the rest of this month.

It might seem silly to be so excited by this, but since starting blogging, I’ve not read many of the books lingering on my shelves. The books that are judging me for adding new books every month. I can almost hear them question me when I add more to the already bulging shelves. If books had eyebrows, they’d definitely be raised every single time I buy a new book.

So I’ve decided to read for ME. I apologise to the authors waiting for reviews on their books, but this is much needed!

I’m excited to read without pressure and publish some reviews of books that I’ve been hoarding for a while. Normal service will resume next month!

Bring on the TBR pile!

The Geography Of You And MeJennifer E.Smith- I was surprised to be approved for this book! But a happy surprise. Looking forward to reading it! I’m excited to read The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski. The cover is beautiful and I’ve heard great things!

These two Point Horror books are the start of a new feature with Beth. We’re still thinking about how to present the feature, but it’ll be so nostalgic for us to revisit these books.

Gift:

I received my present from the Valentine’s Ninja Book Swap, an idea similar to Secret Santa. I’m so grateful for these presents. Carey was my Valentine’s Ninja! Carey said she bought Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, as she had seen on my blog that it was one of my favourite books. I’m so happy to have a hard copy. I also got Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher. Another book that has been on my radar for quite some time now!

Won:

I was happy to win Danielle’s blogoversary giveaway. I won an Amazon gift certificate. I immediately knew what I wanted! I’ve been wanting to read Thirteen by Tom Hoyle for a while now. It just looks so intriguing. I’ve seen Smart Girls Get What They Want by Sarah Strohmeyer for a while now too, so I thought I’d give that a try! Thanks Danielle!

What are you currently reading?

15792316I was torn between starting Ignite Me or reading Split Second for my next read after I finished my previous book. I went for Split Second because I reasoned that I’m enjoying that series more. Never fear though, Ignite Me is DEFINITELY next. As for Split Second, I’m currently 10% through and I think I’m going to love it!

What did you recently finish reading?

This book was recommended to me by Luna, who if you read my blog regularly, you’ll know recommends me many, many books! I thought this was a fun, easy to read book which made me laugh out loud at many moments.

What do you think you’ll read next?

13188676I KNOW Ignite Me is next. I have it in ‘real’ book format, and it’s just waiting for me. I’m really looking forward to this book. It’s good to know that once I finish it, I’ve finished another series pending!

How about you? What are you reading this week? Please feel free to answer the questions in the comments section, or leave me your WWW Wednesday link?
