Ten Characters That Would Make Great Teachers

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the wonderful The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s list is all about leaders. We’re thinking about the characters that would make a great leader in one way or another. I decided to go for teachers, as being a teacher myself I recognise (I hope!) what makes a decent teacher.

Atticus Finch– He has to be one of the best possible options. I loved his morality.

Matilda Wormwood– The ultimate bookworm.

Hermione Granger– She would work people hard. A fount of knowledge.

Molly Weasley- She’d be so caring and fiercely protective.

Mary Poppins– Incredibly organised and practically perfect!

Katniss Everdeen– She wouldn’t be allowed to hurt the children, obviously, but she’s loyal and dedicated. Skills you definitely need in order to teach.

Tris Prior– Again, she’d have to be careful but her selflessness and courageousness would stand her in good stead.

Wendy Darling– She might be a bit of annoying teacher but there’s no denying that she’d be great at looking after young ones.

Dorothy Gale– I like how Dorothy inspires confidence in others.

Jane Bennet– I had some help with this one, from my sister Beth! Jane is patient, gentle, loyal and is great with children. (Thanks Beth!)
